We Are Open

Hello Lonsdale Boxing Club members

We thought it would be good to provide you an update of how and what the gym is doing with regards to being open.

As you know, we have opened back up our facilities as permitted by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. We have guidelines in place that everyone must follow.

Our members and staff safety are our priority so please be mindful of the new protocols in place.

Since June 8, 2020, we are back up and running. We are happy to welcome back our members and it has been great to see everyone.  Of course, there are a few changes, but we continue to provide a safe place for you to continue boxing.

We have some new signs that remind and encourage social distancing. We know some people are from the same household, so there may be concerns if someone is unaware and sees them together. Please talk to a coach if you have any questions or concerns.

We do have limited equipment for members to use. If you have used gloves, or ropes etc, please put it in the bin designated for used equipment so it can be sanitized properly.

The water fountain is not available to use currently except the filling station. Please make sure you bring your own water bottle.

The gym is sanitized between classes and we appreciate your consideration in keeping things tidy and in your bags. Do not wear your indoor shoes to the gym. Put them on when you get to the gym.

Currently there is no sparring in the gym. We are able to do some focus pads, but both parties must wear a mask when doing so.

At this time, we do not require you to pre-book for classes. If the class reaches capacity, we will post that it is full on our social media.

As always, if you are sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick, please do not attend then gym. If you have travelled outside of the country or province, please refrain from attending the gym for a period of 14 days.
